The Problem
We were contacted by a business on behalf of their customer. The customer had a wheelie bin storage area that was fitted with vented doors so that the smell could be released outside.
The only problem they were having was that although their wheelie bin store could let the smells of the bins out, the scent served as a beacon for insects. This was quickly causing an infestation within the building that needed to be resolved.
As the site was a relatively new building, the customer did not want unsightly fly screens to ruin the aesthetic appeal. They had also just installed their new Anthracite Grey doors and didn’t want them to be covered by a bulky white insect screen.
The Solution
Our fly screens presented the ideal solution to prevent flying insects from entering the bin storage area. We are also able to offer bespoke fly screens that are powder coated to any RAL colour. This meant we were able to colour match with the existing doors and make sure that the fly screen blended in perfectly with their doors.
We also made sure that our screens only covered the opening slats, so that if the screens provided the protection necessary, without inhibiting ventilation but also without ruining the aesthetics of the building.
