The Problem
We were approached by one of our suppliers who had a domestic customer that was having an issue with insects on their property when their sliding patio doors were open.
The customer had grey patio doors at the rear of their property, and didn’t want the aesthetics of their patio doors to be ruined by a fly screen. They needed a solution that would allow them to keep insects out of their house while still being stylish.
The Solution
We gave the customer a couple of different fly screen door options that would be compatible with their patio doors that could also be powder coated so that they wouldn’t stand apart from their current patio doors.
They opted for a patio slider, which functions as a roller fly screen door which was then powder coated to Anthracite Grey to match their existing doors.
Once the powder coated section was received, a technician attended the property to construct the product on site and install it. When a product is powder coated, it is essential that the technicians take great care when they’re installing the fly screens – any small error could damage or scuff the fly screen, so precision is essential.
The customer was very happy with their installation and how their new fly screen blended in seamlessly with their existing patio doors.
